On this side of the bars, we need women and men dedicated to the safe keeping of prisoners, to include mealtime, activities and transports to and from court and other facilities. The Sheriff prefers one (1) year law enforcement experience. You’ll work shifts and must have no felony or Class A misdemeanor convictions and a valid Kansas driver's license. All County positions require a minimum of a High School diploma or GED with the ability to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical assessment.
