Job Title : Dental Hygienist
Job Location : New York
Type of Facility : Private Dental Practice
Length of Assignment : 3-4 weeks (possible extension)
Start Date : Immediately
Work Schedule : Tuesday - Thursday, 7 : 45 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Perform dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages
- Take and process dental x-rays, including full sets
- Conduct periodontal charting on a yearly basis
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and dental health
- Perform sealant applications and fluoride treatments
- Assist with scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures
- Manage patient flow in multiple operatories when needed
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant
- Utilize Open Dental EMR system
