Job Title : Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
Job Location : Iowa
Type of Facility : Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment : 13 weeks with possibility of extension
Start Date : Immediately
Work Schedule : Five 8-hour shifts per week, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Perform various radiologic procedures including X-ray, CT, and MR (if applicable)
- Handle 10 scans per shift in a busy radiology department
- Conduct imaging for ortho (neck to foot), neuro, trauma, and general inpatient requests
- Work with local PC referrals and participate in Neuro and Alzheimer's clinical case studies
- Collaborate with remote radiologists who read scans through PACS system
- Optional on-call rotation (every 4th day) with morning / afternoon off following evening call
