Job Title : Echo Tech

Job Location : Texas

Type of Facility : Hospital

Length of Assignment : 13 Weeks

Start Date : Early February

Work Schedule : 4 shifts per week, 10-hour days (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM), on-call every other weekend

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms
  • Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms
  • Operate Philips, GE, and Siemens Echo machines
  • Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation
  • Collaborate with a team of two other echo technicians
  • Provide on-call coverage every other weekend and varying weekdays

Requirements :

  • ARDMS or CCI Registry certification
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Active TX state license
  • Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including on-call rotations
