Job Title : Echo Tech

Job Location : Connecticut

Type of Facility : Hospital

Length of Assignment : 13 weeks

Start Date : Immediately

Work Schedule : 40 hours per week

  • Wednesday to Friday : 10 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday : 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Operate echocardiogram machines to record cardiac functions under the general supervision of a Cardiologist
  • Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms as needed
  • Conduct stress testing and stress echocardiography assessments when required
  • Complete 6-8 scans per day, including echo completes, limited, and PE studies
  • Work with adult patients exclusively
  • Utilize Meditech EMR system
  • Operate Phillips epic and Phillips IE33 equipment

    • Requirements :

  • CCI or ARDMS certification
  • BLS certification
  • Confidence in completing echo scans (no minimum years of experience required)
