About the Role: We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Barton Healthcare Staffing. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting patient specimen testing and analysis, performing maintenance on equipment, and handling a diverse range of laboratory tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient specimen testing and analysis using various techniques and methods
- Maintain accurate records and reports of test results
- Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies
- Handle 15-20 tests per night shift, primarily for adult patients
- Operate Meditech EMR system and general lab/testing equipment
Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification
- Montana state license
- Proficiency in phlebotomy preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle a diverse range of laboratory tasks
