**Job Description:**
We are looking for a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at a hospital in Kansas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Procedure Performance: Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac/stress studies, renal scans, and SPECT imaging.
- Patient Interaction: Work closely with patients from various departments, including ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, and ER.
- Equipment Operation: Operate advanced equipment such as Optima 640, GE Infinia, and Adac Forte.
- Unit Dose Handling: Handle unit doses without on-site compounding requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in on-call rotation and collaborate with a team of staff members.
Qualifications:
- Certification: CNMT or ARRT(N) certification.
- Licensure: Active Kansas state license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Nuclear Medicine experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in various nuclear medicine procedures.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
