Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients, including administering breathing treatments and managing ventilators
- Assist with intubations and manage oxygen therapy as needed
- Perform and interpret ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases) to inform treatment decisions
- Float to all areas of the hospital as needed to support patient care
- Collaborate with a team of 4-5 RTs per shift to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Current active Kansas state license
- Registration or certification with the NBRC
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Proficiency in ventilator management and critical care
