Earthcare is a leading provider of sustainable waste management solutions, specializing in organic waste streams in both the municipal and agricultural sectors and the production of non-wood biochar which are spaces in which it has operated for more than 20 years. Earthcare provides a circular solution to organic waste management through its patented gasification technology which converts an array of organic waste streams into a marketable high carbon content biochar (EcocharTM) in a thermochemical process that has been deployed throughout the United States and the world. Our facility in Bethel, PA is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Shift Operator to join our team. As the Lead Shift Operator, you will be responsible for the monitoring and safe operation of the biochar production equipment to meet daily production goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot all biochar production equipment both manually and via computerized automation
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain accurate daily production logs
- Receive incoming raw feedstock
- Report production issues to the Operations Manager
- Maintain and repair production equipment
- Act as shift leader with other production team members ensuring that shift production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the plant management team
