We are seeking experienced Sit down & Reach Forklift Operators for a company located in Romeoville, IL.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must have experience with reach and sit-down forklifts.
This job can be Temp-to-Hire for top performers
1st Shift hours: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday - Friday, with a rotation of weekends (Saturday or Sunday 6:00 pm-6:00 am)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepping pallets
- Running a machine that straps and wraps pallets
- Putting away and picking orders
- Loading pallets
- Responsible for safe, careful handling of product, and completing tasks and SOPs.
- General housekeeping and stow maintenance in your works as required – example – Clean as you go.
- Continuous focus on fostering a safe work environment by practicing safe work procedures and following all safety rules
- Must be able to operate a Reach, sit-down or clamp forklift

- 1-3 Years of Sit Down/Reach Forklift experience required.
- Work Schedules are normally 8-10 hours.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
- Must be able to operate a Reach, sit-down or clamp forklift
- Minimum 1 year forklift experience in the manufacturing setting.
