As the Production Manager, Rebar, you will oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining efficiency and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage production teams, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Train, mentor, and supervise production staff, including welders, machine operators, and laborers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance when needed.
- Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Quality Control, and Logistics teams to optimize operations.
- Manage production budgets and control costs to achieve financial goals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Experience 5 years in a production management role, preferably in the rebar steel industry.
- Leadership Skills Proven ability to lead and develop production teams.
- Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, safety regulations, and production management software.
- Problem-Solving Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot production issues, and implement process improvements.
- Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and reports.
- Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
