POSITION TITLE: Contracted Nurse – Exceptional Education -
(No Benefits, Contracted Position) Adairsville Elementary and Red Top Middle School
JOB DESCRIPTION:
One-on-One Nurse for Exceptional Ed Students - Adheres to the unique needs of students with severe disabilities, i.e. lifting, positioning, feeding, toileting as appropriate. Utilizes existing health resources to provide appropriate care of students. Implements procedures and provides for emergency nursing management for injuries/illnesses. Promotes and assists in the control of communicable diseases. Treats confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion. Presents a professional image when representing the school district through word, action and dress. Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. Performs other duties as requested and required. Follows federal and state laws as well as Bartow County Board of Education policies.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: State of Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (minimum) or Registered Nurse Certification.
