POSITION TITLE : Paraprofessional - Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 School Year
LOCATION : multiple locations
START DATE : July 30, 2025
JOB DESCRIPTION : Assists classroom teacher in all activities including instruction, personal care of students, preparation of lesson materials and evaluation of student's progress. Must have the physical ability to lift, pull, and carry 25 lbs. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Perform other duties as requested and required.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING : High school diploma. Must hold or be eligible to hold a Georgia Paraprofessional License through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
SKILLS : Physical demands - must be able to stand and walk a minimum of six hours; lift, carry and pull up to 25 pounds.
EXPERIENCE : Previous experience as a special education paraprofessional preferred, not required.
