POSITION TITLE : Teacher - Visual Arts (HS) for the 2025-2026 School Year
LOCATION : multiple locations
START DATE : July 23, 2025
JOB DESCRIPTION : Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of high school Visual Art curriculum and subject matter. Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING : Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia teaching certificate in Art (P-12).
SKILLS : Excellent written and oral skills to communicate with students, parents, and stakeholders. Physical demands include standing and walking a minimum of six hours a day; lift, carry and pull up to 50 pounds.
EXPERIENCE : No previous classroom experience required.
