Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a safe environment for all individuals on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
- Valid security guard certificate or relevant training is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Experience with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
