Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer (Event-Based)

Location: Pixley, CA 93256
Date of Assignment: Saturday, April 12, 2025
Shift Times:

• Two Officers: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• One Officer: 8:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking professional, reliable, and courteous unarmed security officers to provide security for a private quinceañera event. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all guests and staff during the celebration. This is a one-day assignment with the potential for future opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible security presence to deter disturbances or unauthorized behavior
• Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure only invited guests are allowed access
• Patrol the premises to ensure the safety of all attendees
• Respond to any incidents or emergencies professionally and calmly
• Report suspicious activities or violations to the event coordinator or local authorities if necessary
• Assist with crowd control, parking coordination (if applicable), and ensuring compliance with event rules
• Maintain clear communication with other guards and event staff

Requirements:

• Valid California Guard Card
• Minimum 1 year of security or customer service experience (event security preferred)
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Strong observational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Must be professional, courteous, and respectful at all times
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Fluent in English (Spanish-speaking is a plus)

Uniform & Equipment:

• Professional security uniform (provided or approved attire)
• Flashlight, charged mobile phone, or radio communication device (preferred)

Compensation:

• Hourly rate based on experience and credentials
• Paid at the conclusion of the assignment or per terms agreed upon
