Time: 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM (5-hour shift)
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Job Description:
Barzo Security is hiring an experienced and professional unarmed standing guard to provide security coverage at a private sorority event in Berkeley, CA. The event will take place at the Pi Beta Phi house and requires a focused and reliable officer to maintain safety and order throughout the night.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible security presence during the event
- Monitor access points and ensure only authorized guests enter
- Conduct area checks and remain alert to any suspicious activity
- Provide assistance to guests and event staff if needed
- Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately
Requirements:
- Valid California Guard Card (required)
- Minimum 1 year of security experience (event security preferred)
- Must be punctual, reliable, and professional
- Good communication skills and calm under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods
