Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA with extensive ED experience to join our team at our 118-bed acute care hospital. As an autonomous practitioner, you will work independently but have the support of a supervising physician on site.
Responsibilities
- Working autonomously in the ED with occasional consultation from a supervising physician
- Managing patient flow and prioritizing cases effectively
- Collaborating with support staff, including a full-time NP and PRN PAs
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced ED environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cerner EMR experience
