What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner position at Bas Healthcare?
Location : A community in the western part of New Mexico. It serves as a gateway to vast open landscapes, historical sites, and outdoor adventures. It lies near the Arizona border, roughly southwest of Albuquerque.
Facility : Health centers offering comprehensive services including chronic illness management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma), acute illness care, preventive medicine, family planning, women's health, wellness physicals, and screenings.
Opportunity :
- Hours are Mon-Fri 8a-5p
- ALL OP No Call
- Mon-Thurs-Fri : Location one
- Tues-Wed : Location two
- Looking a candidate who has a minimum of 6 month of availability or longer
- Need to be able to work solo; will have access to medical director if needed.
- Must have DEA and NM licensed
- No hospital privileges or on call but will need someone who can do sutures and able to stabilize patients until ambulance arrives. Does not happen often but just in case.
Compensation : Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice.
