What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Nurse Practitioner Job Opening position at BAS Healthcare?
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Provider to join our team in providing medical disability examinations and evaluations to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. As a PRN nurse practitioner, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work at a pace that suits you.
The ideal candidate will have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery, as well as a strong background in general medicine and compensation and pension. You will be working independently, but with the support of our experienced team, to provide high-quality care to our veteran clients.
Our exams are designed to be efficient and effective, with a focus on interview-based assessments and minimal physical testing. You will not be required to prescribe medication or provide treatment, and your expertise will be valued in areas such as musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio conditions. Our training program will equip you with the skills needed to excel in this role, including proficiency in METs testing and DBQs.
As a member of our team, you can expect a supportive and collaborative environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our competitive hourly rates and weekly pay ensure that you are fairly compensated for your time and expertise.
