Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in the development of innovative defense electronics systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, testing, and production of electrical systems for military applications.
Bascom Hunter provides solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace markets across various disciplines. Our BH Tech division currently provides products and services across four product lines: Advanced Systems, RF Components, Mixed Signal Products and Digital Products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of electrical engineers in the design, development, and testing of defense electronics systems
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure that all engineering activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Stay up-to-date with developments in electrical engineering and defense electronics and ensure that the team is using the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience managing teams of engineers
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, preference for those with experience in the defense electronics sector
- Excellent project management skills and experience managing projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
