Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our department level operations. This position will be a vital part of the team, utilizing core skills in warehouse operations and leadership to mentor and manage a team of associates ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials
- Build strong customer relationships, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction
- Develop creative solutions to address operational challenges.
- Mentor department leads to maximize capabilities in leadership, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Enhance consistency and reliability of processes through routine auditing and effective teammate training
- Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage department with appropriate communication of goals and performance feedback
- Monitors overtime, supplies, inventory and reviews labor and revenue costs on a monthly basis
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of warehouse fulfillment leadership experience
- Strong Leadership skills
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Ability to solve problems and make timely decisions
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and internal software
- Ability to work independently
