Optometric Technician Responsibilities
- Perform Pre-tests & Specialized Tests on Patients
- Working with people of all ages
- Record Medical History, Med. List & Blood Pressures
- Perform Contact Lens Teachings for New Wearers
- Order and Dispense Contact Lenses
- Assisting Doctors as Requested
- File Vision Insurance Claims
- Collect Ins. Co-Pays and Acct. Payments
- Misc. Administrative Duties as Required or Instructed
