Summary
Base-2 Solutions is looking for a talented and enthusiastic undergraduate or graduate student aspiring to enter the hi-tech and/or government contracting industry to join us as a Contracts Administrator Intern for Spring 2025. Our Contracts Administrator Internship will focus on supporting the contract administration process. The ideal intern will be interested in administering federal contracts and task orders.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Support a program in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance of contract documentation and assist with record retention and audit preparation.
- Support in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement.
- An ability to consider strategic solutions to address business and programmatic risks.
- Identifying and analyzing contract matters.
- Requires a nimble mindset, clear communication style and an interest in contracts administration.
- Participate in various duties that enhance company productivity and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- Eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
- Dedicate a maximum of 25 hours a week to the internship from February 2025 to May 2025.
- Pursuing a college degree, preferably in Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to succeed in team-oriented and independent project environments.
- Demonstrate a high level of detail-orientation.
- Coachable, hardworking, multi-tasking, and positive attitude.
- Maintain confidential information.
