Responsibilities
Partnerships strategy and management
- Drive partnership strategy: Develop strategies and actionable plans to identify and acquire high impact US partnership opportunities that align with company’s goals.
- Partnership management: Negotiate partnership agreements, oversee onboarding ongoing communication and collaboration, e.g. co-marketing opportunities, etc.
- Relationship building: Cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers at key partner companies (largest online marketplaces/platforms, e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, etc).
- Own referral program strategy: Identify and the most promising US referral partners within the US ecommerce ecosystem (e.g., tax advisors, marketing and ecommerce agencies, etc).
- Build and scale referral platform: Design and launch a scalable tech-enabled platform to rapidly acquire, onboard and manage such referral partners to unlock exponential growth of our US user base
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with overall company goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and define go-to-market approaches to drive growth.
- Oversee lead generation and sales pipeline development, working closely with sales and marketing teams to convert prospects into customers.
- 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related role, in the US ecommerce B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of the US ecommerce ecosystem (marketplaces, platforms, merchant segmentation) and extensive network of relevant connections within that space
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
- Proven track record of success in roles with significant accountability.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking KPIs, measuring performance, and driving data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with tech-enabled platforms and a comfort with leveraging technology to scale referral programs and partnership management.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- W-2 employment.
