Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee our store operations. The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
- Ensure the store fulfills all safety guidelines
- Contributes to a positive work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising techniques, and customer service principles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in using POS systems and conducting retail math calculations
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and best practices
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hours:
- Thursday to Monday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, flexible as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
