Cashier at Basecamp Books and Bites

Are you looking for a part time Weekend gig that involves talking about outdoor gear? Basecamp Outfitters is hiring for a part time Monday & Weekend Position! We are a small family operated outdoor gear shop located in downtown Cle Elum that focuses on outfitting outdoor enthusiasts with the 10 essentials for backpacking and camping.

Here are some quick key points:

-This position is part-time and weekend shift availability is a must

-You must love the outdoors and be excited to pair folks with the right gear for their adventures.

-Must possess basic computer skills so you can assist with checking product availability, product transfers between stores, checking ETA’s and utilizing our Point of Sale System.

-Possess the ability to work both independently accomplishing daily tasks and well as interdependently with coworkers to accomplish larger tasks.

-Weekends are a must and there will be the ability to pick up hours during the week. Also since we live in an area heavily affected by tourist activity, you must be willing and able to work holiday weekends (labor day, fourth of July, etc…)

-Must be 18 and able to lift 30 lbs to help receive and put away product as it arrives.

-Pay starts at $16/hour and there are sales contests bonuses as well as employee discounting and pro-dealing available.
