Assistant Studio Fitness Manager

Job Summary:

As a Basecamp Fitness Assistant Studio Fitness Manager, you will help to lead a dynamic team that positively affects the lives of our members on a daily basis! You will help to manage the daily operations of a fast-paced fitness studio, develop the staff in your studio, drive business profit margins, coach experience driven fitness classes, and build relationships with Basecamp members and address their concerns ensuring positive outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Responsible for helping achieve studio performance metrics (KPIs) and P&L targets, delivering top line revenue and net profit.

· Help manage controllable expense budgets of P&L including payroll, repair & maintenance, supplies, inventory.

· Manage the daily operations of a fast-paced fitness studio.

· Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, marketing, outreach).

· Manage client and staff concerns.

· Evaluate and consistently improve overall staff and studio performance.

· Lead by example to cultivate an energetic and welcoming environment for clients and staff.

· Supporting Basecamp’s referral program by routinely inviting members of the community to bring friends, families and coworkers.

· Participating in new member outreach activities and field marketing events.

· Coach high level, experience driven group fitness classes

Required Qualifications

Minimum Education & Knowledge

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· Fitness Certification, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Minimum Work Experience

· Customer Service or Retail experience required

· Sales experience preferred

· This position reports directly to the Studio Manager and/or Area Manager

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
