As the Studio Manager at Basecamp Fitness, you're not just leading a team; you're pioneering Charleston's newest fitness concept with our second studio location in Nexton, with additional sites in the pipeline. Your primary duty is to lead and guide a dynamic studio team in achieving exceptional performance, with a focus on helping our clients lead healthier lives and realize their maximum potential.
You will be responsible for executing and optimizing studio operations, establishing effective business processes, and implementing best practices to effectively operate and support a rapidly growing boutique fitness studio. In addition, your critical role involves driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance our business, as well as recruiting, training, and developing the studio staff. You will also be instrumental in fostering a sense of community by building personal connections with your team and studio members, aligning with the welcoming, encouraging, and celebratory culture of our brand.
Beyond revenue growth, the Studio Manager will work closely with studio owner and Regional Manager in expense management. This includes monitoring studio labor expenses, managing supply procurement, overseeing retail inventory, and ensuring preventative maintenance for the studio's facilities. Your comprehensive approach to studio management will be essential in ensuring the long-term success and growth of our fitness concept in Charleston.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in pre-sale efforts, which encompass a range of responsibilities, including: Contributing to marketing initiatives to generate interest and awareness.
Coordinating pop-up events to showcase our offerings.
Managing future client communications and outreach.
Scheduling events to engage with potential clients.
Cultivating and nurturing business-to-business relationships within the community.
Studio & Staff Management:Report directly to the Owner and Regional Manager
Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboard Assistant Studio Managers and Ambassadors
Assist in developing the studio's staff schedule
Collaborate with the studio team for ongoing process improvement and the development of the highest quality member experience
Plan and execute staff training, ongoing coaching, and development.
Lead performance management activities with each staff member, including goal setting, ongoing coaching, and performance reviews
Provide performance coaching for employees not meeting performance expectations
Act as a coach to Assistant Studio Managers (ASMs) and a resource for all studio employees, inspiring each person to be highly engaged in their role
Build a sense of community among team members by offering positive engagement, trustworthy support, and fostering personal connections
Deliver a world-class, member-centric experience that strengthens member relationships and enhances member retention; implement strategies to ensure all members feel welcomed, encouraged, and celebrated
Cultivate a high-energy studio culture through contests and incentive-based motivation
Drive team development by facilitating inspiring team meetings that increase trust and accountability throughout the staff
Conduct regular sales staff meetings and attend all required meeting webinars
Lead by example by modeling all studio activities through self-involvement.
Manage the sales process with a focus on exceeding all sales goals while adhering to budget targets.
Business Operations:
Meet performance metrics (KPIs) related to customer service feedback, revenue, inventory, payroll, facilities, and other operational costs.
Monitor P&L reports for the studio and utilize data to bridge any gaps between actual performance and company projections.
Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of the studio's payroll information during each payroll cycle.
Demonstrate compliance with and adherence to Business Policies for daily studio operations.
Ensure consistency and continuity in all branding-related actions.
Prioritize addressing studio performance issues to tackle the most profitability-affecting issues first.

Minimum Education & Work Experience:
College degree prefered.
2 years of management experience is prefered.
2 years of previous sales experience is prefered.
Preferred previous experience with lead-generating and community outreach experience.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:Regularly standing and walking.
Flexibility to work during day, evening, and weekend hours based on studio requirements.
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Salary : $50 - $60
