Job Summary:
The Case Manager Supervisor oversees case management departments at various locations. This role supports daily operations, monitors staff performance, and works to improve service delivery. The Supervisor provides leadership, mentorship, and training to the team.
Strong leadership, mentoring skills, and knowledge of case management processes and responsibilities are essential for this role.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Upholds the mission and vision of the Case Management (CM) department as defined by leadership.
- Collaborates with CM leadership to implement strategic goals aligned with Basecamp Recovery Center's mission.
- Maintains professional relationships with patients and staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Provides quality substance use and mental health intervention services using a Strengths-Based Model, managing a caseload of fewer than 15 patients.
- Acts as a liaison between patients and community resources, making necessary referrals for additional support.
- Maintains a structured case management system, including assessments, goal setting, and monitoring service delivery, while reducing patients’ dependence on case management.
- Prepares timely documentation and keeps well-organized, confidential case records.
- Ensures caseload coverage during emergencies and assists with group case management as needed.
- Participates in weekly individual and group supervision and required meetings, facilitating daily CM huddles.
- Stays updated on new treatment strategies through training and seminars.
- Engages in Quality Improvement activities, conducts peer reviews, and complies with all relevant guidelines.
- Reports and resolves issues within Case Management with the Director, meeting weekly for supervision.
- Anticipates program needs and addresses problems proactively.
- Provides administrative supervision and training for CM staff weekly.
- Manages incentive distribution for patients alongside the Director.
- Completes training for new and ongoing staff as needed and performs other departmental duties.
Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree or higher in the behavioral health field or relevant field
- Active CDCA, LCDC-II or LCDC-III license
- 1 year in a leadership role
- 3 years in a case manager or support staff role is preferred
