Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that company goals and objectives are achieved in their assigned service delivery area as well as conducting, leading, managing, and evaluating medical services to ensure that contractual obligations and client expectations are met.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design a treatment plan for new patients.
- Follow treatment plans created by other health care providers in our facilities.
- Build an effective rapport with the patients.
- Provide education on Medically Assisted Treatment.
- Make educated decisions on patient care.
- Collaborate with other health care providers and counselors on staff to determine the best course of action for the patients.
- Utilize an EMR system for documentation, e-prescribing and test ordering.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a healthcare provider, preferably in the field of addiction.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices in the field of addiction.
- Methodical and creative.
- Patient, flexible and compassionate.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Must be licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and have a Certificate to Prescribe in the State of Ohio.
- Must have relevant professional experience working with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Must be to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, verbally, and in writing, with a variety of audiences, and willing to represent the organization within the medical/health-care community.
Other Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care principles preferred.
