Job Title : Industrial Engineer

General Purpose of Position : This position is responsible for ensuring that the processes of product implementation, customer fulfillment and contract renewal notification function error free and within the appropriate timeframe. To accomplish tasks this position will need to create, document, inspect and report on process performance. This position will be responsible for process gap identification, sizing and resolution. Working cross functionally and with in-depth knowledge of supporting technology will build appropriate avoidance and monitoring solutions into the processes, ensuring clear ownership and tasks are identified.

Summary of Responsibilities :

• Document processes including technology and positions identify gaps that allow potential risk. Potential risk is defined as a deviation that could cause my client, its customers, vendors, employees or other representatives to experience unintended loss, disruption or break from expected function.
• In conjunction with others, define methods to mitigate exposure, implement and track efficacy.
• Help develop SOPs and perform reviews to ensure adherence.
• Be responsible for managing the department's quality plan, defining completeness and correctness criteria and establishing quality control metrics
• Make process and systems recommendations / changes to reduce risks.
• Project manage process and systems changes initiated by this function and report on progress, including expected financial impacts; be responsible for informing, enabling, reviewing, and reporting on project progress performance.
• Participate in system and functional requirement gathering, definition, analysis and documentation development and review
• Create and maintain defect logging, tracking and reporting system.
• Create control charts and run the calculations to ensure statistical significance of sampling
• Stay abreast of planned and executed changes in the organization, evaluate for impact to department's processes and communicate identified issues and elevated risks, work with appropriate team towards an organizational solution; modify existing processes and communicate to necessary audiences.
• On a regular basis, perform an audit of the product setup, fulfillment and renewal processes assessing the impact of any technological, process or people changes that have occurred and identify if any new risks have emerged or prior risks have been eliminated. Make appropriate recommendations and lead implementation of approved changes.
• Perform cost benefit analyses associated with recommendations.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by management as required.
