MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Location : Martinsburg, WV

Reporting to : The Site Engineering Lead

Responsibilities :

• Develop capital cost and engineering effort hour estimates
• Prepare design requirement documents for new process and manufacturing capital projects
• Co-ordinate design efforts located on-site and remotely
• Support the power, controls & instrumentation group to execute deliverables
• Create final engineering installation packages and lead bid walkthrough activities
• Participate in system commissioning, verification, and qualification activities
• Prepare equipment specifications and review equipment to assure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare design basis, work tender, best value options analysis, cost estimating, and input to project schedules
• Provide engineering services during the construction phase
• Provide client-focused communication both written and verbal to ensure strong working relationships are fostered with clients
