What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project scope, timelines and technical requirements.
- Program and commission Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers to ensure HVAC systems run efficiently.
- Write, test, and debug code for HVAC and building automation systems to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
- Document development processes, code, algorithms, APIs, and system components for future reference
- Integrate software components and third-party devices into larger building systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to improve system efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, using software and engineering specifications.

What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, Vocational Technical Certificate, or equivalent relevant in HVAC programming or industry experience.
- Proven experience in HVAC programming, including writing, testing, and debugging code.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware issues in HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Familiarity with DDC controllers and building automation.
- Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite and general computer literacy.
- A valid driver's license with the ability to travel to different project sites as required.
