Becoming a Reliability Project Manager at BASF
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Project Manager to join our Dispersions & Resins team in Wyandotte, Michigan.
About the Role
This is a critical role that will work hand-in-hand with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Asset Management personnel to deliver projects that improve plant capacity and reliability.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and project objective memos (POMs) to obtain necessary funding authorizations.
- Ensure appropriate project safety reviews are completed as required both before and after approval.
- Utilize value-improving practices (VIPs) to optimize project scope and costs.
- Request and coordinate required process, design, and construction engineering resources.
- Maintain SAP project data entries, monitor project progress, and perform project status reporting.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Project Manager who can drive long-term, cost-minimizing, and sustainable solutions for reliable operation of plant assets.
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of combined Project Management, Reliability, or related experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using SAP for project management and/or maintenance processes is a strong plus.
