We are looking for a Research Technician I to join our PM team in Wyandotte.

- During your straight Monday to Friday day shift as a Research Technician I, you will
- Support the development of new Polyurethane products through your background and expertise.
- Become an expert at highly advances blending and processing equipment
- Build and maintaining relationships with internal business partners and cross-functional departments (internal and external customers)
- Maintain a zero-incident mindset in all aspects of the job.
- Support the team by independently performing assigned tasks.
- Run and maintain equipment and processes with some modification based on given parameters
- Have knowledge of basic determination of testing requirements
- Have the ability to understand instructions by supervisors and internal partners.
- Understand basic chemistry and being proficient in blending techniques.
- Have a level of understanding of basic chemical processing techniques and machinery

- Have a High School Diploma or GED with three years of mechanical or chemical experience or an Associates Degree related to mechanical or chemical background would be preferred.
- Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in a pilot / prototype laboratory setting or manufacturing operations environment.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience with standard computer programs (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel)
- Have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Polyurethane machine operator this would be preferred.
- Have 1 to 3 years of experience troubleshooting machines used to prepare polyurethane materials this would be highly preferred.
- Possess Polyurethane industry experience this would be desirable.
- Are able and willing to lift and carry 40-50lbs
