About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Chemical Process Technology Engineer to join our team in Freeport, TX. As a key member of our Petrochemical Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the long-term economic success of our plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide process and design input for capital projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Own and complete Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) reviews and revalidation, ensuring plant safety and compliance.
- Provide process safety management (PSM), risk management plan (RMP), and responsible care (RC) audit support.
- Lead plant trials and provide technical training on process technology for team members.
- Collaborate with process control personnel to develop and implement automation solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in chemical engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of chemical/petrochemical/refining manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience with capital project development and execution.
- Strong understanding of process engineering concepts and their applications.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations and standards.
