We are looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor, who will focus on the blending and shipping areas of the site, to join the Attapulgus team in the distribution of our Fluid Cracking Catalyst across the world.

This Supervisor is accountable for the safety, quality, productivity, cost, and overall performance of the Attapulgus site’s Logistics organization. The logistics organization is comprised of all operational functions associated with receiving intermediate materials, catalyst component blending, customer/site transfer shipments for FCC/Additive products, and logistics yard management that supports the blending and shipping of FCC catalyst. This role has an additional reporting structure to the site manager for site ownership and accountability.

As a Supply Chain Logistics Supervisor - Attapulgus, GA, you create chemistry by...

• Being accountable for EHSS for the team at the site
• Always maintaining Responsible Care readiness
• Managing all aspects of the outside logistics operations for the site: Both Intermediate and Outbound operations materials, shipping optimization, invoicing, and various Supply Chain KPIs
• Managing the Internal Blending operations at the site with an emphasis on planned performance and process improvement
• Working directly with the Blending Coordinator and Product Management team to improve the product quality process for the site
• Leading projects and process improvements within the logistics areas
• Being responsible for employee development and training. Direct reports: 2 Supply Chain (salaried), 4 outside loaders (Union), and blender operators (Union)
• Controlling general Logistics area costs to meet standards
• Being accountable for the 3rd party operations on the site as it pertains to daily operations

If you...

• Have a bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain (preferred) or 5-7 years of experience in a logistics environment (required)
• Understand Supply Chain and Customer Care principles and concepts
• Have experience with SAP
• Are able to learn, understand, and manage complex plant process flows and equipment to facilitate effective planning and scheduling as well as operational execution
• Are able to effectively manage the performance and development of personnel through demonstrated coaching and leadership skills
