We are looking for a EHS Coordinator to join our Agricultural Solutions team in St. Louis, Missouri.

As an EHS Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include leading the site's behavior-based safety process (Exposure Reduction Process) and actively participating in the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program requirements. You will also support and participate in training initiatives at the site. The main goal of this position is to enhance the site's EHS performance by coordinating activities across various departments, promoting learning and development opportunities, and implementing effective EHS systems to ensure compliance with regulations and BASF standards.
As a EHS Coordinator, you create chemistry by...
- Supporting the site by maintaining and demonstrating adherence to EHS policies and procedures, including the Responsible Care Management System.
- Leading the Exposure Reduction Process (ERP) and using observation metrics to collaborate with Site Leadership to drive safety culture improvements.
- Developing and presenting EHS training, managing EHS Curriculum assignments, and administering the site Learning Management System (LMS).
- Monitoring regulated waste accumulation, coordinating disposal, and managing tracking documentation.
- Verifying compliance and partnering with departments in the management of inspections, audits, hazard recognition, and other EHS-related systems.
- Maintaining safety data sheets through administration of the 3E Protect application to ensure availability and accuracy of site chemical inventory information.
If you...
- Possess a degree or certificate in a science-related discipline such as Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry or other related field of study and 5 years of experience in a manufacturing-related industry setting.
- OR Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline such as Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry or other related field of study and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing-related industry setting.
- Have experience or knowledge in safety, environmental, or health, a plus.
- Exhibit strong organization and attention to detail as a self-starter.
- Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Showcase presentation, training, and coaching skills.
- Display strong collaboration abilities and the capacity to independently coordinate a team.
- Have intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understand OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations and standards as a plus.
