At BASF, we create chemistry – and have been doing so for over 150 years.
We combine economic success, social responsibility, and environmental protection. Through science and innovation, we enable our customers in almost all industries to meet the current and future needs of society. Our products and systems solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring healthy food and nutrition, and helping to improve quality of life. We have summed up the contribution in our corporate purpose: We create chemistry for a sustainable future.
This is where you come in.
BASF invites Ph.D. students and academic postdoctoral researchers to apply for the North American Research Forum. The Research Forum offers a unique opportunity for early in career scientists and engineers to gain insight into the chemical industry and learn about R&D, engineering, technology, marketing, and production.
This year the Forum will be held in Wyandotte, Michigan from July 7-9, starting the afternoon of Monday the 7th and ending with lunch on Wednesday the 9th.
As representatives of their university, the participants will exchange experience and ideas within the group of fellow participants and with BASF colleagues through presentations, discussions, lab visits and numerous informal meetings and networking social events. The Research Forum participants will also have the opportunity to develop and pitch a solution to a current industry challenge.
