**Job Title: Engineering Superintendent Fixed Equipment**
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Superintendent Fixed Equipment to join our team in Geismar, LA.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead programs for equipment reliability, maintenance, and quality assurance while mitigating risks associated with mechanical integrity at the Geismar site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Geismar site Inspection and Corrosion Protection departments, managing contracts, reporting metrics, and optimizing resources based on site needs, mechanical integrity program gap assessments, and budget constraints.
- Contributing to the development of strategies and procedures for Fixed Equipment Mechanical Integrity, maintenance, and Quality Assurance.
- Developing and managing budgets for fixed equipment inspection and site corrosion protection activities, both routine and TAR-related.
- Driving continuous improvement within the Fixed Equipment Group by evaluating new technologies and work processes for piping and equipment inspection and repair, with a focus on cost, delivery, and safety performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management, engineering, fixed equipment (piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks) maintenance and reliability, or other corrosion related field.
- Demonstrated broad-based, hands-on expertise and experience across all categories of fixed equipment.
- Solid understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, including familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NACE, ASME, API, OSHA CFR 1910.119, and PSM Mechanical Integrity requirements.
- Able to influence and motivate site stakeholders to pursue improvement opportunities related to Mechanical Integrity.
- Proven ability to work independently and develop strategic procedures and program improvements at a site level.
