Logistics Supervisor Position
We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations in Maricopa, AZ.

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for leading and facilitating the storage of bulk, unprocessed cotton seed while providing logistics support for warehoused products to the BASF production facility. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing work teams, and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively operate the warehouse while maintaining safety rules, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of technicians and contingent labor at the warehouse site to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support the Environmental, Health, and Safety program with site safety initiatives and lead a safety culture through comprehensive training.
- Facilitate repairs of onsite equipment and buildings during the operational season and coordinate summer maintenance during the off-season.
- Prepare and manage shipping, receiving, and storage plans while adhering to site standard operating procedures.
- Partner with the site manager and other supervisors to ensure compliance with government, regulatory, and stewardship guidelines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (required); an Associate degree or higher in Agronomy, Seed Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Business/Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, cotton production/research, cotton ginning, or seed production.
- Strong background in safety culture and compliance.
- Effective team leadership skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy warehouse equipment and mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, Microsoft Office, along with effective communication and organizational skills.
- Forklift certification, or obtain within 2 months of employment, and Working knowledge of Federal DOT regulations.
- Spanish/English Bilingual skills, preferred.
