Job Description:
The Shift Coordinator will work directly with the Plant Manager and Shift Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations of the de-linting and packaging plants and shipping and receiving in the warehouse. The primary focus will be on providing support for production, business, and various processes within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
This includes performing activities in various cross-functional areas such as production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process re-engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations set by BASF and plant management.
- Maintain the plant monitoring programs and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) as they apply to the various processes of the facility.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and yearly production goals established by Cotton Seed Supply, ensuring the production of a high-quality product within a safe work environment.
- Engage in variety cleans across all areas of the site to ensure compliance with SOP requirements.
- Actively participate in team meetings focused on topics such as shift change, cleaning, maintenance, and regulatory matters.
