STL Leadership Track, Class 3 – Job Posting

Overview

The STL Leadership Track is a development program for qualified Assistant Store Team Leaders and Support Center Leaders (with store leadership experience) who aspire to take on a Store Team Leader role in the future. We're now accepting applications for this meaningful – and challenging – 12-week learning journey that starts in April.

Participants will complete the program while still fulfilling their job responsibilities in their current role. Graduates of the STL Leadership Track will be given first consideration in filling STL job openings. Please review the full program overview, a high-level description of what the experience will look like.

Key dates and steps to consider:

• January 27: Deadline to apply

• February 4: Applicants need to be endorsed by their leader

• February 11: District Team Leaders to notify selected candidates of next steps

o Candidates selected to move on to the interview phase will be provided details about how to prepare for and what to expect during the panel interviews

• February 24-28: Panel interviews conducted
  

Required workshop participation dates:

• April 9-10

• Week of April 20

• May 6-7

• Week of May 18

• June 5-6

• Week of June 22
  

Qualifications

• Current Bashas’, Bashas’ Diné, AJ’s Fine Foods or Food City ASTL or Support Center leaders with three or more years of store leadership experience

• No disciplinary action within the last 6 months

• College degree, or pursuit of a degree, in a related field preferred

• Ability to operate basic office equipment and related software including a personal computer and mobile devices

• Demonstrates traits in personal, people, thought and results leadership

• Strong planning and organizational abilities

• Demonstrates problem solving and conflict resolution

• Capable of learning and applying new concepts

• Effective written and verbal communication

• Works well with others

• Provides a positive customer and team member experience
