As a Barista at Bashas', you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing prompt service, high-quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and food items to our customers' specifications.
- Maintain the highest level of product quality and presentation standards at all times.
- Foster a positive and respectful relationship with our customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments, and processing transactions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves as needed.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of products, services, and operational procedures.
- Promote and support sales growth initiatives, driving revenue through suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
Physical Demands:
- Standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Sitting during breaks or while not actively serving customers
- Lifting and stocking merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Pushing heavy equipment, such as beverage dispensers and ice bins
- Keyboarding and telephone use
- Walking and bending to access various areas of the store
