What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Designer position at Basic Resources, Inc.?
The Assistant Designer will work with the Design team to contribute to the execution of seasonal lines as well as chase programs for our growing underwear and loungewear business across leading brands! They will be involved in the design process from market/trend analysis through bulk tech packs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain retail analysis seasonally for all design categories
- Update Tech packs
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Organize and assist in creating presentations
- Organize fabric/trim submits, sample archives as well as active samples
- Assist with the day-to-day needs of team inclusive of contributing to designs and booking meetings
- Communicate cross functionally with internal teams
Qualifications:
- Education in Fashion design
- 1 year of Design experience in internship and/or full-time work setting
- Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong sense of color
- Must work well with a team in a very fast paced and high-volume atmosphere
- PLM experience is a plus
Annual salary range: $50,000 - $55,000
