Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with an overview of the menu and dining options.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the POS system, ensuring optimal table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with inquiries regarding menu items, wait times, and reservations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and waiting areas.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns promptly.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing any issues that arise during the dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette is necessary for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest relations and helping others is highly valued in this role.
