Host/Counter Help

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Person to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling food orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle cash transactions efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Provide prompt service to customers while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Previous experience in food service or working in a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
