Position Overview

Basin Harbor's Food Production Director will lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our banquet guests. This role offers a unique blend of culinary expertise, leadership, and operational management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive food production plans for banquet events, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative menu ideas.
  • Lead and train a team of cooks, porters, and servers to ensure seamless service delivery during events.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef to manage food costs, maintain high-quality standards, and achieve financial goals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in managing food production, including budgeting, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
