Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to insure the smooth and accurate operation of the harbor office. The Harbor Office Clerk is the primary point of contact for guests and members making reservations for waterfront activities (water skiing, tubing, sailing, etc.) and for docking/mooring reservations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Great attention to detail,
- Good organizational skills and excellent communication ability.
- Good telephone and computer skills are also required.
- The position involved close interaction with guests, insuring that they are properly charged for goods and services and that they have a positive experience at the waterfront.
- Other duties and responsibilities as a Dock Hand or Concierge will be assigned as needed.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
- Experience water skiing, kayaking, sailing, fishing desired.
- Experience working in a full-service resort desired.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-pressure work environment and work well in multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes intense work environment;
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
- Must be willing and able to pass a background check
